I don’t have a background in design and this is my first business, so knowing where to start was incredibly daunting. Fortunately I stumbled across D2M, and they put me at ease straight away. From the initial consultation call it was clear that Hellen understood my idea. We sent a few rough sketches but the design Hellen created exceeded my expectations. Not only did D2M help me design my product, they also designed my logo, sourced the materials, created a manufacturing spec sheet and SO MUCH MORE. They even sourced a factory for me.
Every stage was done at my own pace, they didn’t expect an unattainable lump sum up front which allowed me to progress at a comfortable speed.
After almost 2 years, yesterday we launched our website.

Absolutely loved working with Phil and Alistair. They were given a particularly challenging project for which they had very little time to turn around a fully functional prototype. Massive kudos to Phil and his team and very fortunate to have engaged with them in designing an immaculate and aesthetically pleasing product.
We also tasked them with a design challenge to ensure our product could meet product safety standard. After a few weeks of concept design and review. We ship our product to them in which they completion in a timely fashion.
The area of concern resolved by D2M was not mentioned or flagged in the product safety report. Job well done and very happy with the rest.

How it Works
Contacting Us
We cannot help until you get in touch. It’s easy to do so by filling out our contact form and providing some basic information. On the form you should also indicate what type of meeting you would prefer, be it Zoom, Teams or a phone call, and if you require us to sign an NDA, which we’ll be happy to do.
The Consultation
Once the preliminaries have been worked out one of our Senior Design Engineers will be in touch via your preferred method to discuss your project. The Designer will likely ask you some questions enabling them to determine what will be involved so they can create a project proposal.
Receive The Quotation
Based on the details discussed during the consultation a project proposal will be created which includes a detailed quotation and projected timeline. Any changes to the project proposal should be hashed out at this time.
Project Commencement
Once the final project agreement is signed our team is briefed and the development of your idea kicks into high gear.
The Product Design Development Process
Protection of your IP: We work closely with our trusted Chartered Patent Attorneys to ensure your IP is rigorously protected from Day 1.
Manufacturing: We create detailed specifications that will be used by the manufacturer to produce your product. We also source materials and parts and vet potential manufacturers.
Testing & Certification: We make sure your product does not run afoul of consumer protection regulations in any market where you intend to introduce it.
Launch: With all the above complete your product is ready to hit the shelves.
