Equerry Raised £30, 000 Through the Crowdfunding Platform Kickstarter!
While many people pay attention to their image, what they wear and how they look, shining shoes may not top their ‘to do’ list especially in these days of synthetic materials. However, for those who own expensive leather footwear making them look great is usually a priority, since they already know that a pair of really nice shined shoes will not just set the right first impression, but also communicates the right message.
With a burning desire to develop a hassle-free way to cleaning and polishing leather shoes, Anthony and Charles O’Ferrall founded and invented a fantastic device Equerry. The device is a complete shoe-care kit with a motorised shoe polisher designed to eliminate wear and scuff marks in people’s shoes within just seconds. Launched on April 19th 2017, the two brothers are set to take the world by storm as they have designed Equerry using state of the art motor technology.
To make the project a reality, Anthony and Charles raised funds through the online crowdfunding website Kickstarter, and the goal of the campaign to raise £30,000 within 33 days, which was completed successfully! The funds will be used to create the tooling and produce the first ever batch of Equerry shoe polishers. D2M created the campaign and marketing plan and then worked tirelessly throughout the campaign to promote it here and abroad.
