We have worked with Stewart Golf to completely redesign their push trolley range from the ground up. The R1 Push replaced the ageing Z series with a product built around how golfers actually use it: compact enough to fit in a small sports car, durable enough for years of use, and considered enough in its design to stand out in a competitive market.
The Project
Stewart Golf needed a full replacement for their Z series push trolley. Not a refresh, a complete redesign. The brief centred on portability, usability and premium finish, producing a trolley that could compete at the top of the market while fitting into the boot of a small sports car.
The Solution
D2M designed the R1 Push around a rack and pinion folding mechanism operated by a single handle, allowing the trolley to fold and unfold in one smooth action. Quick-release wheels and a compact folded profile addressed the portability brief directly. Ergonomics and aesthetic were worked through in detail, resulting in a product that felt considered at every touchpoint, from the integrated accessories to the choice of three frame options and multiple wheel colours.
