HydraForm Leggings are performance leggings built around patent-pending thermal technology designed to support training and recovery. D2M developed the leggings as a second project for HydraForm, extending a working relationship that began with the brand's sportswear top and applying the same materials and manufacturing approach to a new product in the range.
The Story
The leggings were developed using the same high-performance fabric established during the sportswear top project. Working with a manufacturer in China, D2M produced multiple samples, refining the design through direct collaboration with the factory at each stage.
Athlete testing ran alongside the development process. Triathletes and endurance cyclists put hundreds of hours into testing and providing feedback, with each round of results feeding back into the design. The leggings were developed alongside sports science and research expertise to ensure the thermal properties performed as intended under real training conditions.
