The Eazzypress Quick Iron is a patented compact iron designed to be used vertically, without a board. The brief centred on making ironing more practical for everyday use and travel. D2M developed the product from initial concept through to a working prototype, handling the electronics integration and safety certification required for a mains-powered consumer product.
The Story
The core idea was straightforward to state but required careful resolution in practice: a compact iron that heats quickly, produces steam, and can be held against a hanging garment without needing a flat surface. Getting that to work reliably, safely and to a standard that would satisfy certification requirements meant working through the thermal management, the ceramic plate specification and the steam system alongside the industrial design.
D2M developed the concept, built the 3D model and produced a working prototype. Safety features were built into the design throughout the process, not added at the end, to ensure the product could meet the necessary standards for retail.

Eazzypress secured listings with Lakeland, QVC and Amazon following launch.
