Baxley Bags
Designed for the people who carry everything.
Baxley Bags arrived at D2M with a clear vision and a specific problem to solve. The brand needed an interchangeable strap design, a manufacturable prototype, and a supply chain that matched its commitment to sustainability. D2M helped them get there.
The Outcome
Baxley Bags launched with a collection of over seven backpack designs, each manufactured in the UK in small, limited batches. The approach keeps waste low and demand high, with each new batch selling out quickly. The brand has built a loyal following and continues to grow through its newsletter and community platform, The List.
"I realised I could create this brand and use it as a platform for helping to change minds to buying less, buying better and only the things that we really need."— Lyndsay Lucero

The Story
Lyndsay brought expertise in complex digital user experiences to a product category she felt had been overlooked, particularly for women. The bags she had been using throughout her career had not been designed with her in mind, and she saw an opportunity to do it properly.
She came to D2M at a specific point in the process: she had a strong concept and real momentum, but needed professional support to finalise the design and prepare it for production. D2M developed the interchangeable strap mechanism, completed the final prototype and created the full manufacturing specification. A material and factory sourcing stage ensured all components were EU-sourced and that production remained in the UK, in line with Baxley's values.
