Its unique features and sustainable design have set new benchmarks in travel gear, making it a favored choice among backpackers and digital nomads. The backpack’s popularity was further highlighted when it was featured at the 2024 Outdoor Expo in Birmingham, drawing significant interest and preorders for its next production run.
The Story
The idea for the Zenscape Travel Backpack was born from founder Jack’s personal travel frustrations—specifically, the constant packing and unpacking while interrailing across Europe. As a seasoned backpacker and a national award-winning product designer, Jack was uniquely positioned to solve this problem. Over eight years, Jack and his team developed the backpack, undergoing 14 generations of prototypes tested globally. The final design, recognised for its innovation at the New Designers national award, offers a seamless way to carry one’s wardrobe on the go simplifying the packing process and saving travellers time. D2M’s role was in finalising a detailed product design specification and also helping source the right bag manufacturer for production.
